Intercultural Week at AE Cerco do Porto

The Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco do Porto proudly celebrated Intercultural Week!

With immigrant students from 22 different countries, our school community reflects the richness of cultural diversity. Throughout the week, a series of educational and cultural initiatives were carried out with the goal of promoting inclusion, mutual understanding, and respect amongst all members of the school community.

We also joined the EAPN – European Anti-Poverty Network, the largest European network of national, regional, and local NGOs, as well as European organizations active in the fight against poverty. Founded in 1990 in Brussels, EAPN is currently represented in 31 countries (including Portugal) promoting values of equality, justice, and solidarity.

This initiative was more than just a celebration: it was a firm step towards building a fairer and a more welcoming and inclusive school and society for all. 🌈

📢 Further details and highlights from our activities will be shared soon.
