Big news! We’ve started testing out brand-new class materials all about human rights, and our partners are part of it! These lessons are part of our Erasmus+ project Empower2Act, and they’re here to help us understand the world we live in — and how we can make it better.
These aren’t your typical textbook lessons. They’re full of real topics, real questions, and real conversations that actually matter.
The materials are divided into five modules, each covering something important and relevant:
1) Democracy and Citizenship – what it means to have a voice and use it
2) Modern Day Rights – from online safety to digital privacy and media truth, also including environmental rights
3) Mental Health and Well-Being – how it connects to human rights and why it matters
4) Inclusion and Diversity – respecting everyone, no matter where they’re from or who they are
5) Rights of Vulnerable Groups – understanding people who face challenges and how we can support them
These lessons are being tested in classrooms right now — by students and teachers — to make them even better. And the best part? They’re designed to get you thinking, talking, and acting
.
Because knowing your rights — and standing up for the rights of others — is where change begins.
Let’s learn it. Let’s live it. Let’s act
