Pilot Modules Successfully Implemented in Türkiye
Last month, our project partner from Türkiye, CEIPES Türkiye, successfully carried out the pilot implementation of two educational modules developed by our consortium as part of our ongoing efforts in human rights education.
These pilot courses were delivered over a total of eight lesson hours, with each module comprising four hours of engaging instruction. The sessions were attended by a group of 18 students, who actively participated in the learning activities.
The modules focused on a range of important and timely topics, including mental health and the rights of vulnerable groups. Throughout the classes, students had the opportunity to learn about their fundamental rights, analyze real-life case studies, and discuss recent news stories related to human rights issues. They were also encouraged to think critically and develop their own solution proposals to the challenges presented, fostering both awareness and empathy.
This interactive and reflective approach not only enhanced their understanding of human rights but also empowered them to become more informed and engaged members of their communities.
