Empowering Young People to Act for Human Rights

Highlights from Our Piloting sessions with students

The Empower2Act project has successfully completed the piloting phase of Work Package 2 (WP2), focused on testing innovative Human Rights Education (HRE) teaching tools across five European countries.

The Evaluation Report (July 2025) highlights encouraging results:
✔️ An average satisfaction score of 3.97/5 regarding course engagement.
✔️ Course materials (videos, activities, discussions) rated 4.28/5 for usefulness.
Across Spain, Portugal, Norway, Slovakia, and Turkey, students showed strong interest in mental health, human rights, war and conflict, and global challenges like migration and climate change. Interactive approaches—such as group discussions, videos, and creative activities—were key to making the learning experience engaging and meaningful.

✅ 87% of participants said the course encouraged open discussions and multiple viewpoints.
✅ 89.55% felt more informed about the topics covered.

These positive outcomes reinforce Empower2Act’s mission: to equip young people with the knowledge and tools to defend human rights and become active citizens in their communities.

Stay tuned for the next steps of the project, and join us in building a more inclusive and aware society!
